Ruth Ann Morgan

Ruth Ann Morgan of Potosi, was born on August 17, 1937, in Sullivan, a daughter of the late Ernest Gibson and the late Ella (Mercer) Gibson. Ruth passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, having reached the age of 85.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her three daughters: Pam Lewis, Sandra Henderson (husband, Donald) and Rhonda Franklin (husband, Keith); grandchildren: Natalie Rawlins, Markie Smith (husband, BJ), Crystal Miller (husband, Jared), Dylan Franklin, Donnie Henderson Jr. (wife, Mary Jo) and Sherry Huber (husband, Teddy); great-grandchildren: Logan, Hayden, Hayley, Brayden, Renly, Aaron, Joey, Noah, Kaleb, Karli and Layla; siblings: Shirley Cordingly, Bobby Gibson (wife, Norma) and Mike Gibson; sister-in-law, Joan Gibson. Ruth is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morgan; siblings: Jerry Gibson, Norman Gibson, Larry Dale Gibson and Bernice Gibson; and many other dear relatives.

A Graveside Service at Furnace Creek Cemetery, in Potosi, was held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2 P.M., officiated by Elder Leonard Compton.
