Lester Cleo Mosier

Lester Cleo Mosier of Rt. 1 Mineral Point, was born January 12, 1932, a son of the late Luther Mosier and the late Lola (Henderson) Mosier. Lester married the love of his life Wilma Tedder on March 4, 1950 in Pocahontas, Ar. They shared 62 years together. Lester passed away on Febuary 20, 2023 at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 8 days.
Those that remain to treasure his memory are two daughters; Diana Schutz and Rhonda Vandergriff (husband, Roger). Two sons; Donald Mosier (wife, Kathy) and Mickey Mosier, (friend Lisa); 11 grandchildren, 28 great- grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren with 1 on the way; and many relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; an infant son, Luther Lester Mosier; son-in-law Thomas Schutz Sr.; daughter-in-law Charlotte (Lou) Mosier; grandson Brian Vandergriff; two brothers: Woody and James; four sisters: Ouita Glore, Norma Gorda, Barb Herbert and Rosemary Hampton; Father and Mother-in-law Frank and Grace Tedder; numerous brother and sister-in-law’s and family members.
Lester grew up in Stoney Point and was proud of that fact. He was a farmer for many years. He was an avid Fox Hunter in his early years and spent much of his time training and showing his hounds at competitions. He retired from Pea Ridge Mines. He was a long-time member of the Irondale Masonic Lodge and enjoyed his charity work performed through the lodge. He enjoyed fishing and taking long meandering rides through the backroads. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation is from 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Masonic Service will be held at 12:30 P.M.
Funeral Service will be officiated by Rev. Keith Gorda at 1:00 P.M.
Burial will follow at Lester Mosier Family Cemetery in Stoney Point.
