Jack Skaggs, Jr.

Jack Skaggs Jr. of Mineral Point was born on October 2nd, 1946, in Montgomery, Missouri. A son to the late Norma Jean (Dunlap) Skaggs and the late Jack Skaggs, Sr. Jack departed this life on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 having reached the age of 76 years, 4 months, and 14 days.
Jack is survived by his sons, James Skaggs of Mineral Point, K.J. Nash and wife Kodi of Potosi, Jeremiah Williams of Mineral Point, Zack Williams of Mineral Point; sisters, Jeanette Williams of Mineral Point, ; Doris Hedrick of Salem, Kathy Bason of Cadet; brothers, Tom Skaggs and wife Joyce of Cedar Hill, Eddie Skaggs and wife Marilyn of Cedar Hill; two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
In addition to his loving parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brothers Steve, Mark, and Jeff Skaggs and sister, Marsha Stringer.
Jack was a devoted father, son, and brother. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always made sure they were taken care of. He was a hard worker and did not quit until the sun went down. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Visitation for Jack was held Monday, February 20, 2023 from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri with Bro. Lloyd Pierce officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point. Serving as Pallbearers were, K.J. Nash, Jeremiah Williams, Mike Skaggs, Marty Stringer, James Skaggs, Chris Wells and James Skaggs.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
