Luci Martin

Luci Annette Martin of Potosi, was born January 4, 1984 in Festus, a daughter to Marilyn Jackson and the late Dale Jackson. Luci departed this life Thursday, February 16, 2023 having reached the age of 39 years 1 month and 12 days.
Those left to cherish her loving memory include her children, Olivia Marsa, Sophia Martin, Talan Martin and Kallie Riddle; mother, Marilyn Jackson of Potosi; sister, Brook Dickinson and husband Lloyd of Cadet; brothers, Lee Jackson of Potosi and Gordon Litton II of Rockford, Illinois; aunts and uncles, Patricia Boyer of Barnhart, Judy Mattlach and husband Charles of Barnhart, Sheila Pratt of Fenton, Judy Gillam and husband Danny of Potosi, Mike Boyer and wife Patricia of Tiff, in addition to many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Also, the loving students and faculty of Potosi Elementary and school district. In addition to her Father, she was also preceded in death by her brother Aaron Boyer.
Luci was a blessing to all she knew. She had a deep passion for teaching and always encouraged her students to reach their goals and always do your best. Her school spirit was vibrant and she attended every sporting event, always cheering for her home team. She was instilled with a love of learning at a young age and enjoyed learning about history with her father. She loved picking blackberries, camping, riding side by sides and Sunday dinners with her family. She was always ready for a trip and followed her brother, Lee, to all of his events. Her family was her world and she loved them with all her heart. She was a loving mother, sister and friend. Although she has gone to her heavenly home, her memory will continue to live in the hearts of those she loved.
Visitation for Luci was held Sunday, February 19, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Potosi, Missouri from 3 – 8 P.M. Visitation resumed Monday February 20, 2023 from 8:30 – 10:30 A.M.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Potosi, Missouri at 10:30 A.M.
A Graveside service was held at 12 PM at Lindley-Prairie Cemetery in Bearcreek, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center at 107 N. Missouri Street Potosi, Mo 63664.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
