Billy Dean Thomas

Billy Dean Thomas of Bismarck was born on August 31, 1934, in Rector, Arkansas, a son of the late William and Tessie (Womble) Thomas. Billy passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, having reached the age of 88.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Janice Weiss (fiancé Bob Schumer), Lesa Villmer (husband Tom); grandchildren, Marisa Cook (husband, Andy), Nicholas Weiss (wife, Kim), Megan Allen (husband, Nathan), and Jordan Villmer (wife, Katherine); great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Cody, Bella, Reagen, Rilee, Harper, Alexander, and Avery; sister-in-law, Dollie Moses; and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his dear wife, Alvenia (Brakefield) Thomas; step-son, Ronnie Dale Moses; and brother, Joe Lynn Thomas.

Visitation was Friday, April 7th from 11:30 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1 p.m. held at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi. Interment and final prayers followed the service at Lost Creek Cemetery.
