Raymond Edward Henson Jr. of Mineral Point was born on August 15, 1980, in Washington, a son of Karen Mergenthal and the late Raymond Edward Henson Sr. Raymond left this earthly home on Friday, April 15, 2023, having reached the age of 42.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 13 years, Amanda Henson; mother, Karen Mergenthal; children, Karissa Henson, Brianna Henson, McKenzie Henson, Arianna Henson, Donald Hedrick Jr., Zachary Lee, Anthony Henson, Raymond Henson III, and Katelyn Henson; siblings, Jamie Megenthal (wife, Stacie), Vanessa Balch (husband, Dean), and Jason Quick (wife, Kerry); grandfather, E.J. Henson; father-in-law, Jeff Lee (wife, Christine); as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his father, Raymond was preceded in death by his first wife, Kristy Henson; son, Eli Henson; and infant sister, Mary Mae Henson.

Visitation was Monday, April 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Tuesday, April 18th from 10 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 18th at 11 a.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at 2 p.m. in the Hunt-White Memorial Gardens in Doniphan.
