WASHINGTON COUNTY AIRPORT HOSTED EMERGENCY TRAINING

On Monday, July 17th, 2023, the Washington County Ambulance District and their Mineral Area College EMT/Paramedic classes held a 'real life' emergency response training situation at the Washington County Airport on Highway 8, just East of Potosi.

The Ambulance Staff and students simulated an airplane incident with multiple injuries and went through the scenario with a variety of potential outcomes for training purposes.

The airport was glad to have the staff and students practice the event at the facility. It helps familiarize the ambulance staff and students with the facility, terminal and grounds.

The Ambulance Staffers were pleased with the exercise.
