For the first time ever, the Kingston Cougars won a game in a State Playoff bracket for Boys Basketball. Kingston cruised to a 54-42 victory over the Jefferson High School BlueJays on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 in rural Festus to win the Class 3 Sectional 2 Championship. Kingston’s playoff run ended with a MSHSAA Quarterfinal loss to the defending 2023 Class 3 Champions, the Eagles of New Madrid County Central last Saturday, March 2nd at Central High School in Park Hills. Congrats!
A healthy Washington County requires great community news.
