Jerry Noble Named MRTA 2024 Distinguished Retiree For MRTA’s Region 11

Congratulations again to Jerry Lee Noble a long-time teacher and coach in the Potosi R-3 School District. He was chosen the 2024 Distinguished Retiree of the Year by the Washington County School Retired School Personnel Association (WCRSPA).
The local WCRSPA Unit then submitted his application which included a list of his contributions in the following areas since retirement to the Missouri Retired Teachers Association located in Jefferson City, MO. The list consisted of: (1) Contributions to public education, (2) Involvement in MRTA at the state and local levels, and (3) Involvement in Community Services. Jerry had to beat out any 2024 Distinguished Retirees from the seven counties that make up Region 11. These counties include: Iron, Madison, Perry, Reynolds, Ste. Genevieve, Washington, and Mineral Area Unit
Jerry Lee Noble recently received a letter from MRTA that he has been named the 2024 Distinguished Retiree of the Year of MRTA's Region 11. Jerry will be honored with a a free trip to the Fall MRTA Meeting at the Chateau on the Lake, Branson on September 17 & 18, 2024. Congratulations Jerry.
Now Jerry's application will move on to compete at the state level. MRTA is made up of 14 regions which is made up of about 108 individual units in the state. Each of the 14 regions will have their own Distinguished Retiree. To win the state 2024 Distinguished Retiree, Jerry's application must be chosen out of the 14 region applications as #1.
