Troy Link

Troy Link, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on September 21, 2024 one day after celebrating his 86th birthday, in Potosi. Born on September 20, 1938, in Cadet, Troy was known for his uplifting spirit and a great sense of humor that could a smile to anyone.
A proud veteran, he served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963, embodying the values of service and dedication that he carried throughout his life. His commitment to helping others was evident to all who knew him. He owned and operated the Anchor Bar and he and Dorothy enjoyed buying and renting houses to those in the area. Troy cherished the time spent visiting with family and neighbors, always welcoming them with a cold drink and a heartfelt laugh.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Link; his sister, Norma Jean Miller of Farmington, dear and special friend Kenny Boyer and his family of Potosi; in addition to many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness dearly.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Emma (Head) Link and Melvin Link; his sisters, Juanita Yates and Ruth Evans; and his brothers, Harold, Earl, Arnold and Vincent Link. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
Visitation for Troy was held Wednesday, September 25th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with a funeral service beginning at 1 P.M. officiated by Pastor Keith King. 
Burial and final prayers took place at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Boyer, Ken Bequette and Austin Bequette. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
