John Michael Pashia

John Michael Pashia of Blackwell passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Mercy South, St. Louis, at the age of 72 years. He was born on August 18, 1948 at St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Leslie H. and Mary Corrine (Rulo) Pashia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry, Francis, James and Robert Pashia; five sisters, Babe Harness, Rosie Kemper, Kathleen Hill, Fannie Leas and Patsy Sansoucie.

John proudly served in the United States Army. John was a member of the DeSoto AmVets and Desoto V.F.W. He enjoyed his time fishing, riding back roads and spending time with family and friends.

John is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation was held from 9 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 19th, at the Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto. A service followed at 11 a.m. with Father Alex Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in the form of Masses.
