Julio Lazo Gallardo

Julio Lazo Gallardo of Bonne Terre was born on May 27, 1956 in Havannah, Cuba, a son of Andres and Angela (Lazo) Gallardo. Julio passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 having reached the age of sixty-four years, five months and twenty-seven days.

Those who remain to mourn his passing include his companion, Shirley Jones; daughters, Angela Marie Gallardo, Rachel Leanora Gallardo and friend Tracy Hedrick; stepsons, Russell Coleman and Scott Waters; sister, Julia Gallardo. Julio is also survived by lifelong American brother, Jerry Westfall; cousin, Francisco; nieces, nephews; and his fur babies, Linda, Rosie, Choppy, Puppy and LaCrowl.

Julio was preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Angela (Lazo) Gallardo and sister, Olympia Gallardo.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 27th from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 27th beginning at 1 p.m. in the DeClue Memorial Chapel, officiated by Elder Leonard Compton.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
