Susan Carol (Day) McMahan

Susan Carol (Day) McMahan of Old Mines was born on December 29, 1948 in St. Louis, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Courtois) Day. Susan departed this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2020 having reached the age of seventy-one years, ten months and twenty-seven days.

Those who remain to mourn her passing include her loving husband, Bobby McMahan Sr; son, Bobby McMahan Jr; sister, Mary Price; three grandchildren, Daelyn Wickerham, Ava McMahan and Harlee McMahan; two great grandchildren, Shannondoa and Savannah; sister-in-law, Virginia Skaggs; brother-in-law, Lynn Stroup and wife Lora. Susan is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Susan was preceded in death by her infant son, Timothy Scott McMahan; siblings, Judy Law, Elmer Day Jr., Cathy Hartman and Rose Day; niece, Cindy Ruth Wetherford.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home Potosi.

A funeral service was held on Monday, November 30th at 11 a.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Rick Posey.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
