Hurshel Lee Parmley

Hurshel Lee Parmley of Potosi, was born July 23, 1941 in Potosi, a son to the late Garner and Minnie (Morgan) Parmley. Hurshel departed this life Sunday, November 22, 2020 having reached the age of 79 years, 3 months and 28 days.
On January 1, 1982, Hurshel was united in marriage to Debbie (Harmon) Parmley and they were blessed with thirty-eight wonderful years together.
Hurshel is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; daughter, Heather Reary (Andy Stephens) of Bonne Terre; son, Jonathan Parmley and wife Taylor of Potosi; sister, Gladys Volner of Potosi; brothers, Bobby Parmley and wife Wilma of Potosi, Charles Perry Parmley of Potosi; four grandchildren, Carson, Weston, Drew, Airianna and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Hurshel was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred “Mickie” (Howard) Parmley-Bunch and half-brother, Billy Richard.
Hurshel was a loving and caring family man. He was an active member of the Potosi Lions Club and helped with many activities. He loved the outdoors and took many hunting and fishing trips with friends and family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he cherished every moment with them. His memory will be treasured by those who loved him.
Visitation was held Wednesday, November 25th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Brother Leonard Compton officiating. Burial was at High Point Cemetery. All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home, Potosi.
