Hannah Ruth Kennon
November 07, 2024
Hannah Ruth Kennon, a radiant light in the lives of those who knew her, went to be with Jesus on October 22, 2024, at the tender age of five. Born on November 27, 2018, Hannah's short but impactful life was marked by joy, laughter, and an unyielding spirit.
From the moment she graced the world, Hannah's personality shone bright. She was outgoing and filled with happiness, yet possessed a sassy edge that kept everyone on their toes. In her mind, she often thought of herself as the boss, and her endearing antics earned her the title of “the snitch” among her cousins. Those who had the privilege of sharing moments with her will forever remember her sweet giggle, which effortlessly transformed into a thunderous laugh that could brighten the gloomiest of days.
Hannah cherished the simple pleasures of life. She found delight in drawing, watching her favorite shows like The Adams Family and Frozen. She would dance to Alicia Keys' inspirational anthem "This Girl is on Fire," acting like a cat, all while accompanied by her beloved puppy, Jack. Hannah loved going to Branson, where she would explore the wonders of the Promised Land Zoo and the Dinosaur Museum, indulging in all the delicious food she loved, especially her favorite dish, spaghetti and meatballs.
Hannah leaves behind a loving family who will hold her memory close to their hearts. She is survived by her mom, Jessica Kennon; brother, Tyrone Kennon; and her three special cousins, Hazel, Atlas, and Noah Kennon, who were like siblings to her. Her grandpa, Larry Kennon; aunt, Camera Kennon; uncle, Trenton Jennings; as well as her cherished great aunts and great uncles who also carry the legacy of her laughter and love.
Though her dear grandma, Kimberly Kennon, has passed on, it brings a sense of comfort to imagine their reunion in a place where joy knows no bounds.
A visitation celebrating Hannah's life was held on Friday, October 25th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 1 P.M. at the DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
