Mary Janes Arnold

Mary Jane Arnold, of Potosi passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on August 22, 1947, in Richwoods, Mary Jane was known for her loving kind, and caring nature, bringing joy to those around her.
A member of the United Pentecostal Church of Potosi, Mary Jane's deep faith was evident in her daily life. She cherished tending to her garden and spending time outdoors, which reflected her appreciation for the beauty of nature. Above all, she loved the Lord with all her heart and deeply valued the moments shared with her friends and family, keeping beloved friends and family members on her thoughts and prayers.
Mary Jane is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Hollingworth and husband Johnny of Richwoods; Mary Lahay and her husband David of Shallotte, N.C.; and Rebekah Simpson and husband Cody of Farmington. She is also survived by her son, Frankie "Gene" Arnold and wife Cheri of Potosi. Additionally, she leaves behind three brothers, John Pruitt and wife Betty of Saint Clair; Jim Pruitt and wife Annette of Cadet; and Daniel Pruitt of Mount Pleasant, Ark. Mary Jane took great pride in her grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Brooke, Kaitlyn, and Isaiah, as well as her great-grandchild, Johanna. Among her cherished friends were Bonnie and Roy Jones, Rosie Galvan all of Farmington.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Effie (Stroup) and Julish Pruitt; husband, Frank G. Arnold, her son, James Gilbert Arnold; her infant brother, Joseph Pruitt; and her sisters, Susie Courtway, Ann Comstock, Lizzie Comstock, Nancy Pruitt, and infant sister Bertha Pruitt.
Mary will be remembered not only for her unwavering faith and devotion to family but also for the warmth and kindness she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and touch the lives of those she leaves behind.
Visitation for Mary Jane was held Saturday, November 30th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with a funeral service beginning the same day at 1 P.M. with Bro. Johnny Wren and Pastor Timothy Pless officiating. 
Burial and final prayers took place at Horine Cemetery in Richwoods. Serving as pallbearers were Luke Arnold, Roy Jones, Bryce Trowbridge, Justin Arnold, Josh Insco, Marty Arnold and Zach Arnold. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
