Mary Virginia Dickinson

Mary Virginia Dickinson of Potosi departed this life peacefully on Monday, January 27th, in Bonne Terre. Born on June 25th, 1944, in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Juanita (Handley) Walton. Mary was a beloved figure in her community and a cherished member of her family.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Smith and her husband Danny, of Potosi, and Candy Dickinson of Potosi. She is also survived by her two sons, Charles Dickinson of Havelock, North Carolina, and John Dickinson of Potosi; a brother, Jim Walton and his wife Nancy, of Russellville, Alaska; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, all who will miss her dearly. 
Mary is preceded in death by her father Charles Walton, and mother Juanita (Handley) Walton; husband, Ronald “R.J.” Dickinson; and her brother George Walton. 
Throughout her life, Mary took immense pride in her family, especially in her children and her grandchildren, who were her proudest accomplishments. Mary was a devoted Christian, walking in her faith, always keeping her eyes on the Lord. She embraced every moment spent with family and friends, making lasting memories, traveling and square dancing. 
No services will be held. All arrangements were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
