A dedicated and cherished member of her community, Hopie devoted 33 years to a fulfilling career in Human Resources at Washington County Memorial Hospital. Throughout her career, she made many wonderful friendships that she valued dearly, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the lives she touched. Hopie had a vibrant personality, always up for fun and known for her playful sense of humor. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, particularly cherishing her role as a "Mama" to her two grandbabies, Hayden and Illiana.
In addition to family time, Hopie had a variety of interests that enriched her life. She found joy in tending to her vegetable garden and took great pride in canning the produce she cultivated. Another passion of hers was raising chickens. She also loved attending auctions, always seeking out new treasures. Hopie attended Liberty Baptist Church of Belgrade in years past.
Hopie is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin C. Jenkins; daughter, Ashley Gallaher and her husband, Dustin; her beloved grandchildren, Hayden Graves and Illiana Gallaher; brother, Sam Warden and his wife, Gail; and sisters-in-law Phyllis Warden, Judy Warden, and Shady Warden.
