Emil Hirsch

Emil Hirsch, a beloved husband, father, stepfather, and friend, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 96. He was born on October 24, 1928, to Charles Emil Hirsch and Jeuilta Lillian (Robins) Hirsch, who both preceded him in passing. His life's journey was marked by his deep faith in deep faith in Jesus Christ and cherished relationships.
Emil found great joy in the world of automobiles, particularly with Model A cars. His enthusiasm for buying and selling cars was well-known among his friends and family. A devout man, Emil dedicated a significant portion of his life to reading his Bible and was passionate about sharing the teachings of God’s word. His faith guided him, and he took pride in visiting with friends, often looking forward to his Wednesday breakfasts with his close buddy, Norman.
Emil shared many wonderful memories with his wife, Margaret "Margie" Hirsch. Among the cherished moments was a special trip to Israel in December of 1996, where they had the opportunity to experience the Holy Land together.
Emil is survived by his loving wife, Margie; his two stepdaughters, Fran Grilley (husband, Paul) and Patty Jones (husband, Rodney); a grandson and numerous step-grandchildren who filled his life with joy and laughter.
In addition to his parents, Emil was preceded in death by two daughters, Darlene and Charlotte Hirsch; a son, Charles Edward Hirsch; and step sons, Daniel Wilson and Dale Wilson. The memories of Emil will be treasured by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Emil Hirsch leaves behind a legacy of kindness, passion for life, and unwavering faith that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to DeClue Funeral Home.
