Phillip Marion Bollinger

Phillip Marion Bollinger of Potosi departed this life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Belleview Valley Nursing Home, having reached the age of 82. Phil as most knew him as, was born on December 13, 1942 in Silva, a son of the late Garland Dalton Bollinger and Abbie Natalia (Warrick) Bollinger.
Phil is survived by his five children, Dale (Becky) Bollinger, Gale Bollinger (Lisa Sanderson), Carl (Sandra) Bollinger, Kenneth (Lena) Bollinger, and Nathaniel Bollinger; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sister, Watie Bell (Thomas) Barber; as well as numerous niece and nephews, and cousins.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Garland "Spooner" and Abbie Bollinger; his loving wife, wife Betty (Levart) Bollinger; his granddaughter Kayla Michelle Gensler; and seven siblings, Walter “Blair” Bollinger, Roger Bollinger, Nathaniel Bollinger, Marie Thornburgh, Janice "Faye" Truelove, Teresa Shaw, and Margaret Bollinger.
Phil enjoyed being outdoors. Through the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and singing karaoke. Phil was owner and operator of Tree Care Service. Phil was a hard worker and was dedicated to his tree trimming business. Phil will be missed by his family.
