Tammy Feverston

Tammy Marie (Thurmond) Feverston of Cadet was born August 1, 1967 in St. Louis, a daughter to the late Verna (Barton) Thurmond and Louis Thurmond, Sr. Tammy departed this life Monday, December 7, 2020 having reached the age of 53 years, 4 months and 6 days.

On May 3, 1986, Tammy was united in marriage to Chad Feverston and they were blessed with thirty-four wonderful years together.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Chad; daughter, Jessica Cook and husband Jeffery of Cadet; sister, Natasha Chiles and husband Ryan of Blackwell; brothers, Rod Thurmond and wife Pauline of Union, Derick Thurmond and wife Jennifer of Blackwell; grandson, Tayven Cook and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Eugene Thurmond, Jr. Tammy entered the gates of heaven with her grandson, Trevor Cook.

Tammy was a kind and caring friend to all she met and lived life to its fullest. She loved spending time outdoors, fishing, working around her home and being outside in the sunshine. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister and grandmother, cherishing every moment she spent with her family. She was always there to help others in need. She will be deeply missed but the impact she left in this world will never be forgotten.

Visitation for Tammy was held Saturday, December 12th from 3 - 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 13th at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Pastor Rhonda Smith officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at Horine Cemetery in Richwoods. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Godier, Justin Doss, Kyle Dickey, Jay McCain, Colton Cook, Austin Cook and honorary pallbearers Ashten Godier and Hunter Lewis.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
