William James Hase

William James Hase, known by all as “Jimmy”, was born December 19, 1949 in St. Louis, a son to the late William James Hase, Sr. and Bertha May (Miller) Hase. Jimmy departed this life Friday, December 4, 2020 having reached the age of 70 years, 11 months and 15 days.
Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Billie Ward of Mineral Point, Robin Hase of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Doris Dungan and husband Roger of Hillsboro; brother, Jerry Hase of Imperial and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jimmy had a contagious smile and his presence could light up a room. He worked for many years as a welder, fixing boats. He cared deeply for his friends and family and was always there to lend a hand. He was a hard worker and never met a stranger. His family was his pride and joy and he will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Visitation for Jimmy was held Wednesday, December 9th from 10 A.M. - 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 9th at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Rev. Charles Williams officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at New Diggins Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Stephen Moore, Roy Venus, Mike Thompson, Alan Brown, Bryan Jones, Nick Brandel, Jeff Ruffin and James Skaggs.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
