David Wayne Sadler

David Wayne Sadler, born on March 5, 1957, left this world on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was a beloved son to Shirley (Ives) Sadler and the late Gale Sadler. David was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved being outdoors, spending time fishing and hunting. Riding his motorcycle and four-wheeler brought him great happiness.
David was also an avid reader, with a particular fondness for westerns. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. The laughter and company of his family were important to him.
He leaves behind his dear mother, Shirley Sadler; two daughters, Sarah Sadler and Danielle Sadler; and three grandchildren, Paige Parks and fiancé Cody, Kayla Ross, and Dante Ross; great granddaughter, Regan Parks; two special aunts, Mariam Sumpter and Phyllis Warden, along with many other dear family members.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Lottie Ives and Albert and Sarah Sadler; his father, Gale Sadler; and his brother, Jeffrey Sadler. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his laughter, and the warmth he brought to those around him.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
