Marlon J. “Jeff” Govero

Marlon J. “Jeff” Govero was born on April 27, 1956 in Bonne Terre. He died on June 19, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the age of 69. He is survived by his father Clayton “K.” Govero of Bonne Terre; his son Jesse Govero of Blackwell; four grandchildren, Madison Govero, Lucas Vuichard, Kaleb Beck and Jacob Govero; five great grandchildren, Raegan Govero, Kruz Rodgers, Lakelynn Rodgers, Kimber Vuichard and Mateo Beck and two brothers William “Bill” Govero and Kenneth “Randy” Govero. He is preceded in death by his mother Marlene Faye (nee Hooker) Dollar; his wife Donna (nee Elsey) Govero; a son Corey Govero and a sister Maureen “Rene” Faulkner and her husband Steve Faulkner. Jeff served in the United States Army and had retired from the Chrysler automobile manufacturing plant in Fenton.
Visitation was held Wednesday June 25th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
Service followed on Wednesday, June 25th at 1 p.m. in the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery.
