Marple E. Jarvis, 92, of Mineral Point, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2025, at Parkland Hospital South in Farmington. Born on August 1, 1932, in Leadwood, she was the cherished daughter of the late Roy and Leona (Hammond) Warren.  Marple was a member of the Pure Gospel Ministry in Bismarck. Marple's life was defined by her deep devotion to her family and her unwavering spirit as a homemaker. She spent many years contributing to the food industry, working at Rosener’s Restaurant for a decade followed by 3 years at A&W, but it was in her role as a mother and family caregiver where she truly thrived. Marple was an avid fan of game shows, which brought joy to her quiet moments. She also found fulfillment in sharing her talents through quilting at the Assembly of God Church, creating tangible expressions of love and warmth. Family celebrations, especially during the holidays, were among her most treasured times, filled with laughter, storytelling, and the simple joy of togetherness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Melvin Harold Jarvis; two daughters, Brenda Cox and Mary Griffin; sisters, Claudine Groves, Margie LaBud and Dorothy Seabourne; brothers, Melvin, Virgil, Arthur, Paul and John Warren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Marple is survived by her children, Carl Jarvis (Judy), Dale Jarvis (Vicky), Betty Easter (David), Rosie Jarvis, Paul “Buster” Jarvis (Shelly) and Trina Valley (Jay); twenty-eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sons in-law, Junior Cox and Vernon Griffin; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.
