Brian Edward Belt, born on July 6, 1974, in Festus, passed away on June 22, 2025. A dedicated family man and a hard-working individual, Brian's life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his passions.
Brian served in the United States Army from 1992 to 1994, an experience that filled him with pride throughout his life. Following his military service, he found joy in working with his hands, woodworking and through his love of cars, especially Jeeps. His ability to fix cars and build things became a cherished hobby that he often shared with family and friends, creating bonds through shared experiences and memories.
On November 9, 2005, Brian was united in marriage to Hope (Reynolds) Belt. Together, they shared 19 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Brian's proudest accomplishments were being a devoted father to his children, and as an aerospace machinist, a job he loved and had been doing for many years. He found immense joy in music, reading and the simple moments spent with family and friends. 
He is survived by his beloved wife, Hope Belt; sons, Tyler Blanton and Ethan Belt; daughter, Abigail Belt; mother and father, Cheryl and Ed Belt; brother, Chris Belt, and wife Shellie; Nephew Owen Belt; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shelly and Paul Reynolds; brother-in-law, James Reynolds; niece, Allison Reynolds; four grandchildren; Paytin, Lily, Gage and Emma
Visitation for Brian was held Saturday, June 28 from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. A memorial service was held the same day at the same location at 1 P.M. with Father Tony Dattilo officiating. 
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
