Michael Eugene Hartsell

Michael Eugene Hartsell of Potosi was born on October 7, 1955 in Fredericktown, a son of the late Billy Joe and the late Donna Jean (Stanfill) Hartsell. Michael departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home, having reached the age of sixty-five years, two months and four days.

Those who remain to cherish Michael’s memory include his wife, Debbie (Murphy) Hartsell; six children: Sonny Hartsell, Christopher Hartsell, Chris Gans, Micah Hartsell, Kelly Gans, and Heather Taylor; five grandchildren: Jakob Bolandis, Andy Bolandis, Madasen Gans, Jaydi Gans and Jameson Taylor; seven siblings:,Bill Hartsell, Bobby Hartsell, Dennis Hartsell, Janet Hill, Connie Kavlick, Betty Leutzinger, Debby Welsh; and many other dear relatives.

In addition to Michael’s parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jay Gans.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9th from 10 A.M. until the time of his memorial service at 11 am at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi.
