From the April 9, 1970 Edition Mayme McKinney Services Held

Mrs. Mayme McKinney, formerly of Potosi, who was residing at 1323 Ann Ave. in St. Louis, died on Saturday, April 4 at City Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. McKinney was born on October 4, 1885 at Palmer, Missouri, the daughter of the late John H. and Rena A. (Flowers) Downard. She was 84 years, and 6 months of age at her death.

Mrs. McKinney was survived by one daughter, Martha Francis (Russell) Hopkins, of Washington D.C.; one brother, T.W. Downard of St. Louis and one sister, Katherine B. Talley of Reedley, California.

Graveside services were conducted on Monday, April 6 at 11:00 A.M. at the Caledonia Presbyterian Cemetery at Caledonia, Missouri with Rev. A.D. Brand officiating Don Sparks Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
