From the April 6, 1950 Edition Funeral For Mrs. Cora Thurmond In Potosi

Mrs. Cora Thurmond, 73 years old, widow of the late Frank Thurmond, was found dead in bed at her home in Citadel early Tuesday morning by her daughter Ruth. She had been ill several months. Funeral services will be held today from the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the New Masonic cemetery by Sparks Funeral Home. Surviving are three sons and three daughters.
