Potosi High School Basketball Homecoming Set For Friday, January 29, 2021

It will soon be Basketball Homecoming time, as Potosi High School stages its big annual celebration in conjunction with the Central basketball game that evening.

Special “Spirit Week” activities are planned by P.H.S. students each day that week at school leading up to the big celebration on Friday. The theme for the week is “Roughing up the Rebels through the decades” and the days are as follows:

Mon.- Malt Shop Monday (Students will wear 50’s apparel)

Tue.- Tie-dyed Tuesday (Students will wear 60 & 70's apparel) 

Wed.-Totally Wicked Wednesday (Students wear 80's apparel)

Thurs.- Throwback Thursday (Students wear 90's apparel)

Fri.- Trojan Pride (Students wear purple and gold)

Students and sponsors will be hard at work decking the halls with School Spirit. Each class has a hallway that they are decorating to match the theme of the Homecoming. Freshmen have the 60’s Hall, Sophomores have the 80’s Hall, Juniors have the 70’s Hall and Seniors have the 50’s Hall.

The P.H.S. Homecoming Maids of Honor, selected by their respective classes, and the Homecoming King and Queen, will be announced at school that day. The Maids and King and Queen will be presented to the community between the Jr. Varsity and Varsity games on the evening of Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.
