La Brigade Sets May Rendezvous & No Winter Shoot
The La Brigade A Renault organization has made the tough decision to forego the annual Winter Shoot in February this year. The plans are to work on the annual Rendezvous in May as usual.
President Dennis Boyer released a letter last week to inform the supporters and the public about the current decisions by the group.
As we all know 2020 has been a year unlike we have ever witnessed before. We were very fortunate that we were able to have our February Event in 2020, but things turned rough shortly afterwards with the Covid-19 Virus. It was very disappointing to our organization that we had to cancel our event in May 2020.
It seems Covid-19 has affected everyone and everything in some manner, with some being affected much worse than many of us.
Well we have made it to 2021 and we hope this finds each of you and your families well and our wish is for everyone to stay safe and healthy, and hopefully this will be the year we find a way to stop this terrible virus.
After considerable discussion the La Brigade A Renault Organization have decided Not to have any event in February this year.
Although it may be too optimistic, we are hoping and praying things will get back to some sense of normalcy. With that hope we have decided to go forward with plans for the May Event in Old Mines this year. We will continue to monitor the status of the Coronavirus and if necessary we reserve the right to cancel the event, if, as the time gets closer we do not feel that we can have it and ensure we keep everyone safe.
Enclosed you should find an attachment with the flyer for our May Event for 2021 in Old Mines, Missouri.
Regards, Dennis Boyer
