From the April 13, 1950 Edition... Mrs. Sally Evans, 66, Dies At Mineral Point

Mrs. Sally Jane Evans died at her home near Mineral Point on April 1, 1950, following an illness of some duration. She was 66 years old. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Charles Osage, Sr., one son, Bert Osage, and four daughters, Florence, Della, Fannie and Minnie Osage.

Her second marriage was to Ernest Evans who survives with her two sons Charles and Henry Osage of Mineral Point and one daughter May Gamblin of Bourbon. Also a sister Martha Grove of St. Louis.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. William Douglas from the family residence on Tuesday, April 4 at 1 p.m. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery at Blackwell under direction of Sparks Funeral Home.
