Carolyn Sue Jackson

Carolyn Sue Jackson of Caledonia was born on July 12, 1950 in St. Louis, a daughter to the late Clyde and Lessie (Gale) Dodd. Carolyn went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, February 6, 2021 having reached the age of seventy years, six months and twenty-five days.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Dawn Turnbough and Patty Scott; step-sons, Delbert (Lachelle) Jackson and Joe (Abi) Jackson; grandchildren, Cara Will, Wyatt Jackson, Garrett Jackson, Carleigh Jackson, Carter Jackson, Austin Jackson and Matthew Jackson; special family, Sheila Umfleet, Takiesha Rice and Jerry Cluck, Ryder Rice, Dawson Cluck, Huntlee Cluck and Talon Randazzo; siblings, Paul (Debbie) Dodd, Jean Haderlein, Marcy (Neil) Isgrig; sister-in-law, Alta Dodd; brothers-in-law, Vernon (Diane) Jackson and Victor (Polly) Jackson. Carolyn is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband of thirty-seven years, Jody Jackson; father and mother-in-law, Vernon and Fern Jackson; stepson, Chad “Homer” Jackson; siblings, Dwayne Dodd, Jim Dodd, Doris Eulentrop and Robert Dodd.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 9th from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi. Visitation resumed Wednesday, February 10th from 9 to 11 a.m.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 10th at 11 a.m. in the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Sheldon Marler officiating, assisted by Bro. Gary Nash. Interment followed at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery in Caledonia.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
