Glenn David Missey

Glenn David Missey, also known by family and friends as "Chaw Pappy", was born on June 15, 1952, a son of the late Gerald and Laura Missey. ChawPappy departed this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 having reached the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 2 days.

On October 7, 1978, Chaw Pappy was united in marriage to Sharon Oesch and they shared 42 years together.

Those who remain to cherish Chaw Pappy's memory include his beloved wife, Sharon Missey; step-daughter, Wendy Heckman; brother, Robert Missey; In-laws, Barbara Stude, Robert and Jane Oesch, and Annette Oesch. Chaw Pappy is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.

In addition to his father and mother, Chaw Pappy was preceded in death by four siblings, Gene Coulter, Wilma Lyons, Margie Hager, and Everette Skaggs; In-laws, Lott "Bud" Oesch, and Noel Oesch.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 22nd from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. A Masonic Service was held on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.

A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. Full Military Honors was presented by the United States Army, consisting of TAPS, flag folding and presentation, and gun salute.
