John Ayres

John Randall Ayres of Potosi was born on August 25, 1951 in St Louis, a son to the late Clarence and Marjorie Coulter Ayres. John passed away on March 7, 2021 having reached the age of sixty-nine years, six months and thirteen days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Linda (Mosey) Ayres; three children, Krystal Farley, Darla (Matt) Johnson, and Johnna (Todd) Strange; grandchildren, Jerry, Angela, Hannah, Brianna, Malachi, Kayci, Abby, Jake, and McKenna; great grandchildren, Ayriana, Hinsley and Gracie.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marjorie Ayres; siblings, Jim Ayres, Clarence “Corker” Ayres, and Juanita Miller.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 10th from 10:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.

A funeral service immediately followed the visitation on March 10th at 1 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
