Diana Campbell

Diane “Rene” Campbell of Irondale was born on December 11, 1961 in Poplar Bluff a daughter of the late Donald Glen and Barbara Ludene (Black) Cates. Rene passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 having reached the age of 59 years, 2 months, and 25 days.

On March 7, 1980 Rene was united in marriage to Patrick E. Campbell and they shared 40 years together.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Patrick Campbell; daughter, Jennifer Manning (husband, Frederick); son, Craig Campbell; two granddaughters, Olivia and Mabelle Manning; grandson, Alistair Manning; sister, Ronnie Anderson; uncle, Kenneth Cates; aunts, Sharon Coon and Shirley Cates; special cousins, Lisa Kasmaouy and Lennie Dixon; 14 nieces and nephews; dear mother-in-law, Ilene Campbell; In-laws, Archie Campbell, Donna and Russell Harmon and Susan and Mike Northcut.

In addition to her parents, Rene was preceded in death by her brother, Donald “Jay” Cates, sisters, Donna “Kay” Channell and Juanita Fay Swift; father-in-law, Art Campbell; and brother-in-law, Andy Anderson.

Rene’s family received friends on Friday, March 12th from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visita.tion resumed on Saturday, March 13th from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 13th at 11 a.m. in the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Bruce Torrence officiating.
