From May 19, 1960 Edition... Lillian Rickner

Funeral services were conducted in Potosi last Wed., May 11, for Mrs. Lillian Rickner, who died on May 10 at the Rainbow Springs Nursing Home, Mineral Point.

Mrs. Rickner, daughter of the late James T. and Almira Whitworth, was born at Brynesville, in Jefferson County, on November 5, 1873, and was 86 years old at the time of her death.

She was united in marriage to Benjamin Rickner on July 13, 1912. She professed faith in Christ some years ago and united with the Bunker Hill Baptist Church, later moving her membership to the Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Earnest Wilson, by a previous marriage, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, sister and two brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were conducted at the Sparks funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. on May 11, with the Rev. A. D. Brand officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Hills Cemetery.
