SCOUT LEADERS RECOGNIZED ALLEN

Local Boy Scout Leaders Jerry Payne, left, and John Hagermann, right, recognized Scout Leader Denny Allen for his 25+ years of service to Scouting during the Annual Blue & Gold Banquet and Pinewood Derby held this past Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218. The afternoon event was the first group activity the Scouts had been able to hold since a year ago at this time. Both Hagermann and Payne spoke of the time and dedication that Denny has shown for the youngsters in the Scouting program over the years. The group had good attendance and enjoyed a fun afternoon of racing, food and a ‘Crossing Over’ ceremony for the Scouts. (Sub. Photo)
