From May 7, 1970 Edition... Purcell’s Father Dies in Washington Robert M. Purcell

Robert M. Purcell, of Washington, Mo., passed away at his residence, 422 Elm St., Monday, May 4th at the age of 66 years, at 11:00 p.m.

The body will be in state at the Neiburg & Vitt Funeral Home, Washington , Mo. Services were to be at the funeral chapel May 7th, at 10:30 a.m. with a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Francis Borgia Church , with interment in St. Francis Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sophie E. (Adelhardt) Purcell; one son, Robert G. Purcell, of DeSoto (owner of Purcell Tire Inc., Potosi) ; one daughter-in-law ; one son-in-law, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Also living are one sister, Mrs. Link Harlow and one brother, Frank Purcell.
