Bess LaLumondiere

Mary Bess (Farrow) LaLumondiere, known by all as Bess, was born July 30, 1937 in Potosi, a daughter to the late Naaman and Anna (Morgan) Farrow. Bess departed this life Monday, April 5, 2021 having reached the age of 83 years, 8 months and 6 days.

On January 7, 1956, Bess was united in marriage to George LaLumondiere and they were blessed with sixty-five years of marriage.

Bess is survived by her loving husband, George; son, Stephen Lalumondeire of Harbor City, California; sister, Jeannie Skaggs of Potosi; brother Perry Farrow and wife Glenda of Potosi and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

In addition to her parents, Bess was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley McConnell

Bess was kind and caring, always having others in her thoughts. She had a solid faith in Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the St. James Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and St. Vincent DePaul. She loved quilting, cooking and tending to her beautiful flower garden. She lived life to its fullest and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Visitation for Bess was held Thursday, April 8th from 9-10:50 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 8th at 11 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Rodger Fleming officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at Calvary Cemetery in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Nathan Farrow, Matt Skaggs, Charlie LaLumondiere, Joe Benson, Robert Chazelle and Buddy Benson.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
