15th annual: at old mines... Car, truck show IS AGAIN make-a-wish fundraiser
Make-A-Wish of Missouri has announced the 15th annual Old Mines Community Car, Truck & Show set for Sat., May 1st at the Knights of Columbus Hall will be a benefit to raise funds for Make-A-Wish of Missouri. Contract for the event issued to Wendy Goff, Cadet Route.
Make-A-Wish of Missouri grants wishes of children who are battling life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish provides a child the opportunity to think about happy things and to escape into a world where wishes come true. It reassures the child that there is a whole community of people who care about their wellbeing. Most importantly, it lets a child know that anything is possible... even the future.
All donations to the Metro Chapter remain in the area to provide wishes for area children.
