Donna Paulette Young

Donna Paulette Young of Potosi was born on June 22, 1947 in Stoddard County, a daughter of the late William A. and Waneta L. (Walker) Sanders. Donna passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 having reached the age of 73 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her three children, Tony (Becky) Jones, Leslie (Darrell) Ames, and Travis (Heidi) Young; four grandchildren, Edward Schwegler, William Schwegler and Abby Carlyon, Morgan Jones, and Matthew Jones; six step grandchildren, Ciara Kay, Jenna Kay and fiancé Jacob Groves, Haley Ames, Kayla Ames, Melisa Ames, and Jesse Cain; two great grandchildren, Hazel Grace and Cora Rose; brother-in-law Neal Hann; two brothers, Delbert (Mae) Sanders and Gene (Shelby) Sanders; sister Shirley Felker; son-in-law, Harry Schwegler; nieces and nephews, Kim Beavers, Shannon Hann, Brent Hann, Vickie Goodman, Gary Sanders, Robbie Sanders, Alan Horton, Gary Allen Young, Kevin Young, and Larry Fowler.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carrol F. Young; son, Timothy Young; sisters, Betty Horton and Kathryn Hann; and brother-in-law, Charles Horton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 6th from 3:30-6 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. 

A service followed the visitation on Thursday, May 6th at 6:00 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel.
