From The June 8, 1950 Edition... William Miller, 80 Dies At Van Buren

William Louis Miller, son of the late Jacob and Melissa Miller, was born near Potosi, Mar. 11, 1870, and died at Van Buren, on June 3, 1950. Aged 80 years, 2 months and 32 days. He was married Aug. 27, 1903 to Melvina Hufstedler and to this union 13 children were born, eight of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, three brothers, one sister, his wife and five children, Mrs. Miller of Van Buren, Ray and Marvin Miller of Van Buren, Mrs. Walter Mallow of Bonne Terre, Clarence Miller of St. Louis, and Mrs. Emma Beuke of St. Louis; 15 grand children and a brother Edward Miller of St. Louis, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Eggers of Granite City, Ill., and Mrs. Mattie Boyer of near Sullivan.
