From The May 19, 1960 Edition... Funeral Services Held For Politte Youngster

Funeral services were conducted at the New Diggings Church last Friday, May 13, for Brenda Darlene Politte, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Lee Politte. She was born February 15, 1960, and died on Wednesday, May 11, at the age of 2 months and 26 days.

Surviving are her parents, Percy and Mae Politte; her twin sister, Glenda Marlene; another sister Pamela Carol; one grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Politte; and one grandfather, James Jackson. Her grandfather, Clarence Politte, preceded her in death on February 24, 1955 and her grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Jackson, on October 25, 1957.

Also surviving are three aunts, Mrs. Floyd Mason of Huzzah, Mrs. Bill Gensler and Mrs. Leroy Anderson, of Mineral Point; four uncles, Charles, William, Clarence Jr. and George Politte, of Mineral Point; six great aunts and six great uncles; one great-grandfather, Walter Beers, and one great-great grandmother, Mrs. Melvina Beers of Route Two, Potosi.

Funeral services were conducted at the New Diggings Church at 1 p.m. on May 13, with the Rev. Joseph O. Gensler officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Sparks Funeral Home.
