Edward F. Boyer

Edward F. “Eddie Bird” Boyer was born in Cadet on May 25, 1948 a son to Morgan and Leona (nee Mercille) Boyer.  He died at Mercy Hospital-South on May 16, 2021 at the age of  72.  He is survived by his wife Sherry (nee Crowley) Boyer; seven children, Shelly (Rodney) Wolfe, Wappapello;  Frannie Reasoner, Angleton, TX; Dewayne “Buddy” (Amba) Boyer, Cadet; James Boyer, Cadet; Mike (Melanie) Boyer, Cadet; John (Kim) Boyer, Pevely, and  Michelle (Carl Wilson) Boyer, Annapolis; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose (Wayne) Politte, Cadet  and Mary (the late Stanley) Portell, Cadet; and a brother Bobby Boyer, DeSoto.  He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; Theresa Courtois, Odela Portell, Ruth Huskey and four brothers; John Boyer, James Boyer, Kenny Boyer and Gary Boyer.

Visitation is Thursday, May 20th from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home with a service
On Friday, May 21st at 11 a.m. at the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel officiated by Fr. Anthony Dattilo.
Interment will follow at St. Joachim Cemetery, Old Mines.
