From June 25, 1970 Edition... ‘Lon’ Higginbotham Died Tuesday Morning

Funeral services for Alonzo S. ‘Lon’ Higginbotham, of Potosi, are to be held today (Thursdsay, June 25, 1970) at 2 p.m. at the Potosi United Methodist church with interment in the New Masonic Cemetery.

Mr. Higginbotham passed away at the Washington county Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning, June 23, 1970.

His body was to lie in state after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gum & Son Funeral Home, Potosi.
