Virginia McGuire

Virginia U. McGuire of Potosi was born March 3, 1939 in Potosi, a daughter to the late Emmitt and Rebecca (Larmque) McGuire. Virginia departed this life Tuesday, May 11, 2021 having reached the age of 82 years, 2 months and 8 days.

Virginia is survived by her son, Michael A. McGuire and wife Juanakee McGuire of St. Louis; sisters, Betty Matthews of Potosi, Leona Douthit of Potosi, Doris Clay and husband Michael of San Antonio, Texas; brother, John McGuire and wife Vernee of Potosi; grandson, Michael McGuire II and granddaughter, Nicole Yolanda Hughes.

Virginia had a kind and caring heart, always seeing the good in people. She loved to play bingo with her friends and was an avid baseball fan. She never missed a game on TV. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
