Debra Sue Missey

Debra “Debbie” Sue Missey, 66, of Farmington passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1955 in Saint Louis, a daughter of Henry Joseph and Louise Marie (Thebeau) Missey.
Debra worked as a factory worker for Red Wing Shoes. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden, going camping, hunting mushrooms, cooking at the parish workers but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids.
She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (fiancé Chad) Mesey of Farmington, Robert (Terri) Missey of Sterling, Colorado, and Jason (fiancé Amanda) Missey, of Cadet; her brothers, Michael (Bessie) Missey of Potosi, David Missey of Blackwell, Jerry Missey of Potosi; her sisters, Ruth (Mike) Missey of Potosi, Linda (Joel) Reid of Blackwell, and Barbara (Rodney) King of Irondale; her grandchildren, Sydni (Andrew) Gray, Cameron Mesey, Madison Mesey, Payton Missey, Kohl Missey, Gavin Missey, Lilley Missey, and Mason Missey; her great grandchildren, Owen Kennon, Emma Mesey, and Shawn Mesey; her sister-in-laws, Betty Missey of Cadet and Lisa Missey of DeSoto; her loving companion Robert Lloyd Missey of Cadet; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, and her four brothers, Kenny Missey, Mark Missey, Henry Joseph Missey, Jr, and Donald “Bud” Missey.
Services were held at Saint Joachim Catholic Church, Thursday, June 10th at 10 a.m. with Fr. Anthony Dattilo officiating. Interment followed in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery.
Friends were received at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto on Wednesday, June 9th from 4 to 8 p.m.
Contributions and memorials may be made to the family to cover funeral expenses.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home of DeSoto.
