Vicky Short

Vicky Diane Short of Robertsville was born on February 3, 1957 in St. Louis, a daughter to the late David and Bernice (Johnson) Taft. Vicky passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 having reached the age of sixty-four years, three months and twenty-two days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her daughters, Heather (Terry) Mosier, and Brooklyn Short; fiancé, Tim Cook; sister, Donna (David) Short.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, David and Bernice Taft and brother, Blake Taft.

Vicky loved her time with family and friends and considered it very important to her. She enjoyed many things in life, including cooking and baking, coloring, fishing, and watching scary movies. She loved her two dogs, Precious and Black Bell and even her “Grand Fur Babies” Little Bell and Maddie. She will be sadly missed by all.

A memorial visitation was held on Saturday, May 29th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at DeClue Funeral Home. A memorial service followed at 12 noon with Tom Reagan officiating.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
