Virgie Sansoucie

Virgie Ann Sansoucie of Potosi was born on December 4, 1951 in Ironton, a daughter to the late Thomas Otto and Gladys Trokey Boyer. Virgie passed away on May 21, 2021 having reached the age of sixty-nine years, five months and seventeen days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her son, Dennis Wayne Sansoucie; three grandchildren, Patrick, Sidney and Shelby Diedrich; niece, Dawn Hazen; nephew, Durand Barton; special family friends, Renaye DeClue, Pastors Connie and John Carrigan.

Virgie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gladys Boyer, loving husband, Joseph L. Sansoucie who passed away on January 12, 1993; brothers, John Calvin Boyer and William “Bill” Boyer.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service immediately followed at 1 p.m. Interment was held at New Diggins Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
